Phil choreographed an LGBTQ+ reimagining of the classic musical THE WIZARD OF OZ, directed by Zi Alikhan. When a Drag Queen Story Hour, led by RuPaul's Drag Race finalist Rosé (Aunt Em/Glinda) is interrupted by a violent protest, Dorothy goes over the rainbow and learns about loving yourself and loving your chosen family.

Phil was selected to present work at the 2020 iteration of DANCEBREAK, a workshop-style evening of dance "showcasing the next generation of Broadway choreographers". Past DanceBreak choreographers include Andy Blankenbuehler, Casey Nicholaw, Joshua Bergasse, Josh Rhodes, and many more.

TSQ PROJECT 2.0

During the pandemic shutdown, creative Jena VanElslander created a semi-regular performance opportunity through their showcase, TSQ Project, presenting work by theater and dance artists in the heart of Times Square while the performing arts were still at a halt across the city.

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN

Phil directed and choreographed CATCH ME IF YOU CAN at NYU's Skirball Center of the Arts. The show was called  "a spectacle unparalleled by most of NYU’s theater scene" (Washington Square News).
